Great Grey Owl rescueApr 7, 2012 | 1:30 pmA Great Grey Owl was taken into care and brought to the pet hospital at Str?msholm yesterday. Today we brought it to Leif Sandgren at the Bird emergency in ?rebro where it will be fed and hopefully recover in a couple of weeks.

Feb 15, 2012 | 4:30 pm2:nd of December 2011Last day?s birding for Matt and Lauren (US) starts with a Great Grey Shrike who?s eating from his own store, a vole staked up on a twig (quite a morbid but rare thing to see), followed by 2 White-tailed Eagles at Lake Fl?cksj?n. Near Stockholm we manage to see a day roosting Ural Owl in a very dense pine tree and a much more showy Water Rail at R?stasj?n.
